Biography

As the Business Manager at Compass Rose Financial Planning, David Warner brings with him more than 30 years of financial analysis and administrative experience including 9 years as a budget and program analyst with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in Washington, DC, working primarily in the areas of Social Security and Medicare. In addition, David served 18 years as a senior policy analyst with the Social Security Advisory Board where he worked primarily in analyzing national policies to promote income and retirement security for the aged and other vulnerable populations.

David has a Master of Public Management Degree in Government and Non-profit Financial Management from the School of Public Affairs at the University of Maryland, College Park. Immediately after retiring from federal service in 2018, David and his husband relocated to the Coachella Valley where he joined the team at Compass Rose Financial Planning.
